Our retreat experiences immerse us in nature, incorporate movement & mindfulness practices, and aim to deeply nourish the soul.

The Inner G Collective prioritizes the holistic health and wellness of diverse communities in the form of self-care & community care workshops, mindfulness and yoga offerings, and retreat experiences. With experience of planning retreat experiences in New York, New Orleans, and Vermont, the impact of creating spaces for restoration, community building, and mental, physical, and spiritual health is a needed resource.

The Inner G Collective is the evolution of work centered on increasing health, wellness and connection in BIPOC (Black Indigenous People of Color) communities. Through yoga and mindfulness practices, community workshops, and local and international retreat experiences, this company is excited about the continued growth and engagement with those who align with this mission.

As the CEO and founder of The Inner G Collective LLC, I bring a breadth of experience. I am a Bronx Native and first-generation college student who earned a Bachelors in Social Work at the University of Vermont, a Masters in Student Affairs Administration with a Teaching Certificate at Michigan State University, and a Masters in Social Work from McGill University with a Gender & Women’s Studies concentration. I've worked as a Family Functional Therapist and facilitated one-on-one therapy and group therapy with women and men involved in intimate partner violence. I have been an educator for over 10 years working predominantly within higher education as an instructor, professor and academic advisor. I am also an entrepreneur, writer, poet and a 200 hr certified Yoga Teacher, & a Reiki and Energy Healing Practitioner. I bring in healing modalities from the Radicle Ally Herbalism program and TraumaConscious Yoga program.

As a Fulbright Scholar, I conducted research on Racial Trauma and its impact on communities of Color. Folks with intersectional identities of race and gender face great disparities in physical and mental health. By creating accessible opportunities for communities of color, this helps bring solutions to the racial disparities and the impact of systemic racism on our health and wellness.
